Kindle Fire HD images leak

Kindle Fire HD images leak

The first images of Amazon’s next generation Kindle Fire HD have been leaked ahead of its official unveiling later this year.
The redesigned tablet features a more angular shape, changes the placement of the buttons and moves the speakers to the top. The band across the back has also been removed, leaving only the Amazon logo.
The details were published by BGR.
According to the report, Amazon will launch new 7-inch and 8.9-inch models. The tablet shown in the leaked pictures is understood to be the 7-inch model.
The first details of Amazon’s upcoming tablets leaked at the end of July.
The next generation of the Kindle Fire HD also comes with an impressive set of specifications. According to BGR, it will come with a 2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. On the software side, it will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, running with heavy modifications.
It will also come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options.
There is no word on the camera. However, if we take the camera on the current 8.9-inch model, we can expect at least 8 megapixels.

Nor is there any word on LTE support. LTE was mooted back in July, but there is no indication of whether Amazon plans to offer such models.
The 7-inch model is expected to come with a 1920 x 1200 pixel display, while the 8.9-inch model should come with a 2560 x 1600 pixel screen.
Both models are expected to be lighter and more comfortable to use than the current Kindle Fire HD tablets.
Amazon is expected to launch the 7-inch model within the next couple of weeks. The larger 8.9-inch model will arrive in November.
There is currently no word on whether Amazon will be holding an event to announce the new tablets.
