Kindle Fire HD images leak


The first images of Amazon’s next generation Kindle Fire HD have been leaked ahead of its official unveiling later this year.
The redesigned tablet features a more angular shape, changes the placement of the buttons and moves the speakers to the top. The band across the back has also been removed, leaving only the Amazon logo.
The details were published by BGR.
According to the report, Amazon will launch new 7-inch and 8.9-inch models. The tablet shown in the leaked pictures is understood to be the 7-inch model.
The first details of Amazon’s upcoming tablets leaked at the end of July.
The next generation of the Kindle Fire HD also comes with an impressive set of specifications. According to BGR, it will come with a 2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. On the software side, it will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, running with heavy modifications.
It will also come in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options.
There is no word on the camera. However, if we take the camera on the current 8.9-inch model, we can expect at least 8 megapixels.

Nor is there any word on LTE support. LTE was mooted back in July, but there is no indication of whether Amazon plans to offer such models.
The 7-inch model is expected to come with a 1920 x 1200 pixel display, while the 8.9-inch model should come with a 2560 x 1600 pixel screen.
Both models are expected to be lighter and more comfortable to use than the current Kindle Fire HD tablets.
Amazon is expected to launch the 7-inch model within the next couple of weeks. The larger 8.9-inch model will arrive in November.
There is currently no word on whether Amazon will be holding an event to announce the new tablets.

Asus unveiled a slew of new laptops and tablets at the IFA. In addition to these, the Taiwanese giant has also launched the Fonepad Note 6 device that comes with a stylus.
The ASUS Fonepad Note 6 features a 6-inch full-HD Super IPS+ display (1080x1920pixels) with a pixel density of 367ppi. It is powered by an Intel Atom Z2580 dual-core processor with Hyper-Threading technology. The Fonepad Note 6 comes with 2GB of RAM with two storage variants - 16 and 32GB with microSD card support for expanding storage.
It sports an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with full-HD video recording and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The device measures 164.8x88.8x10.3mm and weighs around 210 grams. Other features include A-GPS with GLONASS, accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass and proximity. It comes with SIM support (Micro-SIM) with voice calling. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.
The Asus Fonepad Note 6 includes a 3200mAh battery promising talktime of up to 23 hours and up to 6.5 hours of HD video playback. It comes in two colour variants, Black and White. However, there is no word on the price and availability of the Fonepad Note 6. The Asus Fonepad Note 6 comes bundled with an optional protective side flip cover case.
Other products launched by Asus at the IFA include the refreshed Fonepad 7 tablet that also comes with voice calling support. The new Asus Fonepad 7 is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 processor alongside 1GB of RAM and retains the same 7-inch 1280x800 display. It comes with dual-front speakers with Asus SonicMaster audio technology.
The company also expanded its MeMO Pad tablet portfolio and added the MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10.

Intex has introduced its latest smartphone, the Aqua HD through an online retailer for Rs. 15,900. The smartphone is now available for pre-orders on ecommerce website, Infibeam.
The Intex Aqua HD comes with a 4.7-inch HD display (720x1280pixels). It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. A dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone, the Intex Aqua HD runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash and can record 1080p videos. It also sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ aGPS and 3G. The phone has an 1800mAh battery which can deliver up to 5 hours of talktime and 300 hours of standby time. The Intex Aqua HD features a number of sensors that include an accelerometer, a proximity sensor, light sensor and gyroscope.

The Intex Aqua i7 features a 5-inch full-HD display (1080x1920) equipped with OGS (One Glass Solution) display technology and Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad core MediaTek 6589 Turbo processor with 2GB RAM. The device includes 32GB internal storage which is non-expandable. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Intex Aqua i7 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It comes with a 2000mAh battery that can deliver around 6 hours of talktime and 220 hours of standby time. The newly launched phone is a dual-SIM device (GSM+GSM) with support for one Micro-SIM and a Mini-SIM. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ aGPS, EDGE, GPRS and 3G.
